FROZEN EDUCATION is an expression introduced by the philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti willing to describe the current educational paradigm worldwide and the necessity of continuous and active reform in order to achieve true individual but also social transformation.

Education embraces a variety of different facets of our society, starting from our family, expanding to the schools we attend and reaching to our expanded social networks. Education undoubtedly shapes the future of this world and might provide key answers to issues concerning our current communal, political and psychological states.

Focusing on Greece as the case study, the exhibition FROZEN EDUCATION intended to transform the exhibition space Kaskadenkondensator into a working laboratory for exploring pedagogy and cultivating viewpoints and ideas.

Vernissage: Saturday, 13 October, 7 pm, with Art Talk Poetry Night

Poetry Night: Sunday, 14 October, 6 pm, with Panos Chasapis and guests: Efi Rompoti (Recitation) and Rodolfo Mijares Cótiz (Viola)

Finissage with concert: Saturday, 27 October, 6 pm, experimental music performance by Tassos Tataroglou
